End of Trip Facilities
Introducing the new End of Trip Facilities at Neville Bonner Building and 61 Mary Street, Brisbane.
End of Trip (EOT) facilities are designed as a convenient location for cyclists, walkers and joggers to shower, change and store their bicycles.
The Accommodation Office, Department of Public Works has recently completed two brand new End of Trip facilities located at 75 William Street (Neville Bonner Building) and 61 Mary St, Brisbane.
These two new EOT facilities are available to all Queensland Government employees and are part of the Department of Public Works’ approach to promoting healthy and active lifestyles of Government employees.
Features:
The Neville Bonner Building facility features 96 “double stack” bicycle racks, 120 lockers plus male and female shower / change facilities.
61 Mary Street, Brisbane has the bigger of the two facilities and features 254 “double stack” bicycle racks, 298 lockers a bicycle repair bench, plus male and female shower / change facilities. Additional showers for this facility are currently being planned to service the high demand for the facility, and are expected to be completed by 31 October 2009.
How to Apply:
Applications for 61 Mary Street are being accepted in three stages.
- Stage One (closed): open to 61 Mary Street tenants that use redundant facilities at this site.
- Stage Two (July 2009): open to 61 Mary St tenants only.
- Stage Three (1 August 2009): will be open to all other Government   employees.
Please note that Stage Three allocations will occur once the shower upgrade project is nearing completion.
If you are a Queensland Government employee and would like to apply for either a locker and or bicycle rack at either facility, you may do so by completing the application form included below.
Note that availability is strictly limited and lockers/bicycle racks will be issued on a first come, first served basis. If the facility is at full capacity, you will be placed on a waiting list and contacted should a vacancy arise.
