As a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers, Australia with post graduate qualifications in management, Dale has had extensive experience with the Queensland Government, has held the position of Chief Services Engineer and currently is Director, Built Environment Research Unit, Department of Public Works & Housing. He is responsible for ecologically sustainable development and environmental management including building health research and energy conservation, and was awarded a World Health Fellowship in 1992 to investigate environmental health problems in buildings in Europe and the United States of America. He has also been a member and Chair of numerous National and International committees on environmental and building health issues and has presented widely in many National and International Forums on environmental, building health and associated Asset Management issues.
